This began a conversation between my son and I.
Austin: "Weight. I haven't over the last three days. I have only had water and a half a hamburger and a half a bowl of cereal."
Me: "Wow that is good. Why you up now?"
Austin: "The bus leaves at 630 to Dumas."
Me: "You excited?"
Austin: "Ya but most of all I am hungry."
Me: "When can you eat?"
Ausitn: "At like 730 after we weigh in"
Me: "Good. You need food to have strength."
His dad sent me photos of our little, or should I say big wrestler. I showed them to Paige and her response was "Wow, he's tall now!"
Demonstrating his wrestling pose for mom.
He made the 125lb weight class.
Austin is the tall one with the white shoes.
He is wrestling a senior.
Check out those muscles! Whoo whee!
I am so proud that he has stuck with this. He started 9th grade in August and weighing 155lbs he signed up for wrestling class with the idea to be on the team when the season started in December. He has stayed motivated and committed and is down to 124.6lbs and is fit and will be on the JV wrestling team.
