Feeding day

Today was Houdini's first meal at his new home. As you can tell, Paige, the lover of all animals, was not too thrilled with the idea of thawing out a frozen baby mouse, warming it up with hot water and then feeding it to the snake.


There is always a chance that a snake in a new environment will not eat due to stress (yes, even though I don't like them, I have been doing my homework like a good mom should!) However, Fluffy snapped that little pinkie (hairless mouse) up and ate it whole. Yum!

Austin is very pleased with his snake. But like any typical teen, he cannot or will not show his happiness often. Trust me though, he is happy.
