The End of Midterms

Yesterday was the last of midterms this semster- just think, a year from now I will be in the final home stretch, which makes me super happy.
For the rest of this week........
today: no class since I took my midterm practical on tues........YAY!
tomorrow: Last clinic day before spring break.....
saturday: SPRING BREAK!!!! and a HUGE "to do" list of stuff here around the house with the fam, to include catching up with some photos that need to be posted here on the blog. :)

Academic Update

Some of you out there are wondering about my status in school. Yes, I know, and believe me it does seem like I have been in school FOREVER!!!!! To make a very long and involved story short, after the divorce I finished up my BA through WSU (washington state university) DDP (distance degree program). I then applied to a DPT (doctor of physical therapy) program and was accepted. It is a 3 year program, however, I am doing the program in 5 years. Maybe over drinks one day we can all discuss the details of that, but otherwise that is all there is to know.

Bottom line, I graduate in May 2009.

So now you are all in the know! :)

Final Countdown

Well, I have almost made it to friday! This means that I have another meeting at school tomorrow and then the Winter Banquet tomorrow evening. Of course, I need to be there to set up and my lovey family has "volunteered" to help me and the other officers that show up early. Shelley and Jonathan have also volunteered- actually I think it was Shelley who volunteered both of them! :)
Anyway, with everyone's help it should start smoothly! Thank you in advance everyone!

Then, study, study, practice, study, practice all weekend long. I have my final and my research presentation on monday.

And then I will be finished for the semester!

And so begins the week before finals.

I have 3 days of class and then 2 days of reading period. My finals are next monday.
Also included in this week are the final preparations for our research presentation (we present our research that is 3 years in the making), final prep for the winter banquet (decoration making, supply buying, setting up and being the official Hostest with the mostest) and the actual banquet on friday, voting for SPTA officers for the new year that starts in January (which after 2 years of leadership, I have decided to not be an officer another term..........), and study for finals.

Just a tad busy.
