Tasty tidbits

A few tidbits of what has been going on in my life.

Weds: ankle surgery. Turned out fine. Little bit of pain and bruising. Two fine incisions and a few sutures. Hopefully it will take care of the "issues" I have been having for the last year.

Still cannot find Paige's camera with the fun shots of our camping trip on it. When we do finally find it, I will post on that trip. Until then, the search is still on!

Went up to the island for 3 days- absolutely love it up there! Wanted to stay longer, but we were on a schedule. Due to my post surgical state I could not go down to the beach. Sand and fresh incisions do not mix. Some friends in the neighborhood were having a going away party Friday night (they are moving) and invited Paige and I and we ended up seeing several people we knew from when we lived up there. Fun times.

Helping Shelley and Jonathan get the Tacoma house ready to sell.

Got my first birthday card and gift from Lon today. Then he took me out to a deliciously yummy dinner at one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate. Then he took off early back home so he and his dad can get up bright and early to hit the first day of chukar hunting season.

Tomorrow is the last day of "summer" before Paige and I go back to school. I actually think we were cheated out of a decent summer this year. But I guess that is ok since I had to spend most of mine indoors with my internship.

Austin survived his first week of high school and is doing well.

Well, that is about all the tasty tidbits I can think of.
