He is on his way....

Today was Austin's first day of high school. (Yes, to the people up north here, it is early, but they do get out of school in May!)

I texted him on his way to school this morning and I could hardly wait to talk to him after school. So, being the mom that I am, I called him after a length of time that I deemed appropriate for after school chating and walking home. He answered and asked to call me back- that quick. I said sure but was broken hearted. Awhile later he called. He had been at the high school gym working out with the wrestling team. A bunch of them are trying to get into better shape before the season starts.

First day of school and he already has friends.

Nice.

Then he had to go because his dad was picking him up. Appearantly they needed to go shopping for a gym bag so he can carry his workout gear.

Wonder if he is going to come back for Christmas taller than me! :)
