Today is the first day of the last 3 days of class this semester. Then a few days of reading period and then finals on next monday and weds. Only 2 more assignments due! Yay!
Then I will OFFICIALLY be a 3rd year.
May 27th is the first day of my 10 week clinical affiliation. I am really looking forward to it. I have learned so much with patient care this past semester with my patients in the onsite clinic. I am looking forward to a more typical patient schedule and no classes. Not to say that I will not be reviewing or presenting inservices, but no formal class meetings.
Sunshine for 2 days in a row now- and in the high 60's! Whoo Hoo! We are almost at normal spring temperatures! My spinach and beet greens are up, my one tomato has not died and I just planted different types of yummy salad greens. I also planted some cucumbers, zuccini, and green onions. Yum. Can't wait for it all to come up so we can harvest it. Nothing beats fresh grown stuff from your own garden.
My brother, Mike, is graduating this saturday with his masters in nursing down in Texas. I am so proud of him! He has been going to school, working, and raising his 4 daughters. He is the bomb! Mom and Dad are going down there to hang with the family and celebrate the graduation, Rachel's prom, and mothers day. Fun times. I am jealous the kids and I can't go.
My other brother, Eric, finally was able to get a house to stay in, instead of the tiny apartment there in Oklahoma. Now he, his boys and the dog have a bigger place to live. Way cool.
Well I am off to donate platelets. Chow.
